ISO 45001:2023 – Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems

ISO 3834-2 – Quality Requirements for Welding
As a company delivering complex welding projects, we meet Part 2: Comprehensive Quality Requirements of ISO 3834 at our Bethal and Pretoria Works sites. This internationally recognised standard confirms our technical competence and ensures controls for high-quality fusion welding of metallic materials.
EN 1090 – Structural Steel Fabrication
We are certified to the EN 1090 standard, which allows us to fabricate and deliver load-bearing steel structures for projects within South Africa and abroad. This certification ensures traceability, strength, and integrity in all our structural steelwork.
ASME Certification – Pressure Vessel Manufacturing
Steinmüller Africa holds relevant ASME U and U2 Stamps, authorising us to fabricate pressure vessels in accordance with the American Society of Mechanical Engineers Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code. This underscores our competence in high-pressure fabrication environments.
PED – Pressure Equipment Directive
We are fully compliant with the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED), ensuring that our pressure equipment is designed, manufactured, and tested in accordance with European Union regulations for safety and quality. SANS & South African Regulatory Compliance
