Eskom – National Power Utility
Eskom is our longest-standing client, a partnership that’s nearly 60 years strong. Our specialised contracts with Eskom include:
Long-term Maintenance and Repair Services: We hold a four-year contract (effective 1 January 2022) providing maintenance and repair services for numerous Eskom power stations, including Arnot, Camden, Duvha, Kriel, Majuba, Hendrina, Kendal, and Kusile. This covers boiler pressure parts, high-temperature, and high-pressure steam pipes, along with heat exchangers.
HP Heaters Fabrication: This involves the in-house design and fabrication of complex high-pressure heaters for power stations like Tutuka and Duvha, often using innovative welding techniques like rotary friction welding and FHPP hybrid.
Explosive Welding: We’re the only licensed explosive welding provider in South Africa’s power generation sector. We pioneered this specialised method for Eskom’s ageing coal-fired heat exchangers at sites such as Tutuka, Kendal, Majuba and Arnot.
Boiler Erection and Maintenance: We have a long history of building boiler plants and providing ongoing boiler and high-pressure piping maintenance across various Eskom power stations.
